Catherine Marie Smith, 79, of Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2008. She was born December 24, 1928 in Indianapolis to the late Albert and Mabel (Hottenroth) Saba. She is survived by a daughter, Katherine Hook; three sons Kenneth Albers, John Albers, Richard (Pam) Smith; two stepsons Jon Smith, Donald Smith; 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Smith Jr.; her son, Larry Albers; stepson, Ronald Smith; and several brothers and sisters. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 20 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Christians United Soldiers Memorial Chapel, 5626 Lawton Loop East Dr, Indianapolis, with funeral service starting at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
